Why am I doing this?

Well, this seemed to be the best way to occupy every second of any free time I may have ever had. Actually, I started this because I got tired of having to dig through piles of magazines and books to find something I was looking for. Then if I did find it, there was the chance that the information was wrong anyway. And if it was wrong, I had to find (or wait for) the next several issues to check for corrections, provided the source even acknowledged they made mistakes. Some sources are so error prone, you have to assume that something is wrong with it anyway. I was going to say that all you can trust is the pictures, but after seeing pictures printed upside down and backwards, I'm not so sure you can even trust those, and certainly not the text that goes, or was supposed to go, with them. All of this is not to say that there aren't any mistakes here. There are, and always will be with a project of this magnitude. About the only difference is that I fix them, I acknowledge your corrections, and you don't have to wait a month (or more) to find out about them.
